Below are instructions on how to set up and connect with AirMedia in enabled Geddes locations.

Crestron AirMedia allows anyone to wirelessly share HD content on a meeting room screen. Cinos are a Crestron Authorised Partner. Learn about AirMedia here. To disconnect from the airmedia, turn off AirPlay. Connecting to an Airmedia 100 With a Mac Laptop. Once you launch the AirMedia application you will see a login window appear. When prompted, enter the IP address which is displayed in the top-left corner of the projected screen and press CONNECT.Each classroom has a unique IP addresses. Get Air Media Player; the simple yet powerful media player for the everyday computer user. No complex buttons, confusing instructions, nor annoying notifications. Just download, install and Air Media Player will do the rest! Download Airmedia: If you are on a Windows laptop, click on the download button on the left of the screen. If you are on a Mac, click on the download button on the right of the screen. An.exe file will be downloaded which can be located in your downloads folder and on the bottom left of the screen. Double click on the.exe file to install.
Mac OSX:
- Enter the IP address from the AirMedia display in the room into your internet browser.
- Download the Mac client.
- Open and run the program. You may not get all of the same windows shown below.
- Enter the IP address into the program and connect.
- The system then gives you instructions on how to connect. Instructions for following them are in the next steps.
- Click the AirPlay button in the system bar at the top of your screen, and select the IP address of the room’s AirMedia connection.
- Enter the 4-digit AirPlay code on the display in the room (it changes frequently). Once you hit “OK,” you should connect.
- When finished, you can click on the AirPlay menu button in the system bar again and “Turn AirPlay Off” to stop sharing your screen.
Windows:

- Enter the IP address from the AirMedia display in the room into your internet browser.
- Download the Windows client.
- Open and run the program.
- Enter the 4-digit AirPlay code on the display in the room (it changes frequently). Once you hit “OK,” you should connect.
- When finished, click the “Stop” button in the program to stop sharing your screen.
iOS:
These images were taken from an iPad. Most steps should be the same for an iPhone.
- Download the Crestron AirMedia app from the App Store.
- In the app, enter the IP address from the AirMedia display into the bar and choose “Present with AirMedia.”
- There will be a pop-up with instructions on how to connect. The instructions hold true for iPhones, but for the iPad used in creating this tutorial at least, the control center was opened by swiping down from the top-right corner of the screen. Then, select “Screen Mirroring” and choose the correct IP address in the menu.
- Enter the 4-digit AirPlay code on the display in the room (it changes frequently). Once you hit “OK,” you should connect.
- When finished, return to the “Screen Mirroring” menu and choose “Stop Mirroring” to stop sharing your screen.

If you want to download the software for a laptop ahead of time, while on campus, click on the link below to download the AirMedia software for spaces managed by Geddes. This will skip the step of opening the browser and typing in the IP address to install the software. You may proceed to opening the AirMedia app and entering the IP and code.
